Judy Simon Bonamico has been one of the region’s foremost innovators in beauty, style, and small business commerce for over 40 years. As the Owner and Creative Director of Expressions she has carefully built a full-service salon experience that allows customers to become the best versions of themselves in a welcoming and vibrant environment in thriving downtown Bridgeport, WV among bustling coffee shops, restaurants, and boutique stores.
Born and raised in Clarksburg, WV to a large and loving family, Judy carries that sense of family and faith into all that she accomplishes. Her early love of creative arts, crafts, and cutting-edge trends led her to a career in cosmetology that carried through numerous successful styling positions to her position with Expressions in 2000. Married to her high school sweetheart, contractor and local small business leader Mark Bonamico, she is a loving example for four children and four grandchildren.
Judy’s sense of family also extends to the Expressions team where she recruits and mentors team members eager to help clients and each other.
Ever a student, Judy and her team regularly attend national presentations and conventions to learn modern techniques in an ever-changing landscape.
Their Expressions team’s care for the community extends far beyond the salon where they have created food and clothing drives, haircuts for homeless and hurricane victims, cancer relief, and a hand out to anyone in their community in need.
After four decades in the business, Judy Bonamico is just getting started. She believes in becoming the best version of what God created her to be and to helping each client, stylist, and community member to live a better life thorough self-care and transcendent service. In a time of chains and fast-food beauty, Judy and the Expressions team are ready to provide you a customized experience unlike any other.

Carisa Bonamico Morrison

Carisa Bonamico Morrison is one of the region’s most trusted and acclaimed stylists, carrying out her passion daily for bringing out the beauty in every customer both inside and out. As Senior Stylist, Carisa exhibits advanced techniques in men’s and women’s hair that combine classic methods with cutting-edge modern techniques. In an up-to-the-moment world of style and culture, Carisa is always ahead of the curve.

Born and raised in Bridgeport, WV to a family of small business owners and career cosmetology experts, Carisa began her love for hair when her mother, Judy Bonamico, attended a career day at her school. From that day forward, she blazed a trail to become a stylist who is part clinician, part counselor, and most of all a friend. Carisa is married to local contractor Jamus Morrison and has three creative and wonderful children, Aubrey, Abraham, and Ansley.
After attending beauty school immediately after high school, Carisa has gained a large and loyal following since her start in 2003. She attends conventions and clinics around the country to learn from the nation’s top stylists and experts. She brings those trends to Bridgeport, WV with a sense of familiarity and warmth that her clients love.
Along with the Expressions team she contributes to her community, local churches, and schools. Her faith and family are present in all that she does.

Cindy Demastus
Senior Stylist/Creative Nail Technician
Cindy Demastus has twenty-seven years experience as a hairdresser and nail salon expert. She received her certification from Clarksburg Beauty Academy after having graduated from Lincoln High School. She studied further while taking classes at Fairmont State College. She lives in Clarksburg, W.Va. and has one son, Bracin. Cindy is active in the American Legion Post 68 in Bridgeport where she serves as Vice-President of the Ladies Auxiliary. She loves traveling and has visited most of the states in the United States and has traveled to Mexico
Char Mitchell
Creative Senior Designer
Char was born and raised in Grand Haven Michigan. She moved to West Virginia in 1994 where she became a photographer for many years until her creative eye took her in another direction and with the already burning fire to do hair Char pursued her desire to do hair while maintaining her photography business. She did both for a while until her clientele grew and she had to choose what career path to take to take. Her love of hair won that battle. Char's specialties include highlights, extensions, color blocking, women's and menʼs haircuts and she has a special way with kids.
Char has one son. He is 22 years old and resides in Clarksburg. She also has an amazing girlfriend who has a career in law- enforcement.
Char is a lover of many things she loves to just be with her friends and family is always up for an adventure, traveling is another one of her great loves. Her Expressions family means just as much to her. She has a special bond with each and everyone of them. Her love for the community is also a strong one she is always willing and ready to volunteer her time to help with whatever organization really needs her.
Her favorite past time is football she loves the Steelers and the mountaineers, but you can catch her at just about any sporting event.

Arielle Snoe Tennant
Creative Senior Designer
Arielle Snoe Tennant was born in Fairmont, WV. At a young age she showed a love for creating and mastering hair and makeup. She was encouraged by close family and friends to pursue her love of wanting to make people feel good about themselves.
She was always told by long time family friend, Judy, that she would always have a booth at her salon for her.
As Arielle grew up dancing, going to school and perfecting her styling ability in her free time.
There was a long and bumpy road of negative people looking down on her career choice. Arielle ignored the negativity and moved forward to cosmetology school.
When she graduated she started her career at Expressions. It was not always an easy path but she now gets to go and enjoy the career she has made for herself. Her favorite part is being able to make people feel beautiful from the inside out.
Steven Hinzman
Creative Senior Designer
Steven is from and currently lives in Bridgeport. He has been a stylist for thirteen years and loves what he does. He became interested in doing hair at a young age and started assisting at a local salon at sixteen. Steven is full of personality and loves his job, most of all his clients.
